Eek-A-Mouse, de son vrai nom Rypton Joseph Hylton, est un chanteur de reggae jamaïcain né le 19 novembre 1957 à Kingston.

Following on from last year’s very successful series of compilations entitled `Most Wanted’, which featured albums from Wailing Souls, Yellowman and Ranking Dread, comes the next instalment from Eek-a-Mouse which puts the “Mouseketeer” under the spotlight with a collection of 12 essential tracks including `Wa Do Dem’, `Ganja Smuggling’, `Do You Remember’, `Operation Eradication’ and many more.
Includes no less than 9 full-length extended versions of tracks previously only available on 12” such as `Anarexol’, `Teacher’, `Noah’s Ark’, `Christmas a Come’, `Wild Like Tiger’ and `Terrorists In The City’ all appearing on CD here for the first time.
Produced by Henry “Junjo” Lawes and Linval Thompson. All tracks are culled from the early 80’s when Eek-a-Mouse was regarded to be at his peak of his career.Eek-a-Mouse is a legend and one of the original sing-jays, with one of the most distinctive and recognizable voices in the business with a career spanning 4 decades and with 5 albums for Greensleeves. He still tours on a regular basis throughout the US, UK and mainland Europe where he plays to his massive and loyal fan base.
